*** EXCITING NEWS *** Szumeria Makes Significant Breed History Again 2009 Kuvasz Club of America National Specialty The first Kuvasz Club of America National Specialty was held in Reno, Nevada in 1993. To date there have been 17 KCA National Specialties. Szumeria Bred and/or Owned Dogs have won Best Of Breed at 10 of the Nationals and High In Trial in Obedience at 4 of the Nationals, an achievement unmatched by any other Kuvasz Kennel.
At 7 months of age becomes the youngest Kuvasz to win a Best In Specialty Show (2009) Judge- Mrs. Patricia Hastings. Tanner is only the second Kuvasz to win a Best In Specialty Show from the classes. He won Best in Puppy Sweepstakes on the same day Judge-Mr. David Haddock On May 4, 2009 Tanner became the youngest Kuvasz to win the Working Group and became ranked as the #1 Kuvasz in Breed and All Breed for 2009 at age 8 months.
